Paul Hering

Vice Chairman

Paul Hering is retired Vice Chairman Emeritus of Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), a subsidiary of Marsh, the largest insurance broker in the world. Paul worked with the firm for 40 years serving as CEO of Barney & Barney before their sale to Marsh in 2014 and then Vice Chairman of MMA until 2025. Paul is dedicated to community service and in addition to the Timken Museum, currently serves on the boards of the following organizations: Rady Children’s Health, Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego, Rady Children’s Institute for Genomic Medicine, Sports San Diego, the Barney & Barney Foundation and the Santaluz Club.
